When Broad Ripple High School closed in 2018, the BRHS Alumni Association had established a reputation for impactful engagement with senior students, as well as special interactions with the school's Music Department via the Gene R. Poston Foundation and more. Without future graduates each year, the Alumni Association pivoted to focus exclusively on existing alumni-centered events, such as our annual Multi-Class Reunion held at the Rivera Club in June, and on expanding opportunities for gradutes to gather in celebration. The annual Homecoming Celebration & Parade each Fall is the most prominent example of our expansion into events since 2018.

To better align our efforts and events with the reality of our post-school circumstances and to clarify our organizational mission, your Alumni Association created The Legacy Fund.

The Legacy Fund is managed by the Broad Ripple High School Alumni Association for the purpose of supporting graduates (including memorials), groups, events, and efforts that preserve and promote the legacy of Broad Ripple High School.
